The violin features a two-piece flamed maple back with matching ribs and a finely grained spruce top. The transparent amber varnish reveals the natural figure of the wood beneath. Ebony fittings complement the classical outline and traditional edgework.

Small crack on the lower right side. The soundpost is well fitted and stable.
