Artworks
Paintings, works on paper, and prints presented as art.
Each work is selected for its authorship, material integrity, and visual clarity, and considered within its artistic and cultural context.
About our artworks
Our artwork collection is structured around a small number of curated collections, reflecting differences in attribution, origin, and how works enter and leave the collection. The selection is rotating by nature: pieces are acquired, studied, and placed, so availability can change frequently.
Attributed works
Attributed works are paintings linked to a specific artist, studio, or school based on signatures, stylistic evidence, provenance, or supporting documentation. They are valued for authorship, historical context, and the clarity of their artistic identity.
Dutch works
Dutch works include paintings made in the Netherlands or shaped by Dutch artistic traditions. This category spans different periods and subjects, unified by regional influence, technique, and a recognizable approach to composition and light.
Other works
Other works include paintings from outside the Dutch tradition that still meet our standards for quality and presence. This category allows room for strong pieces from broader European and international contexts, and helps keep the collection varied as new works come in.
Rotating availability
Because the collection is rotating, categories may expand or contract over time. Some periods we may offer mainly Dutch works, other times a broader mix, depending on what is available and what we are able to source responsibly.
